Answer: Hey man, thanks
for writing. I'm currently playin with my group Imajin and
doing some clinics around the country. Been very busy but
more updates to follow so stay tuned! - Tony Royster Jr.
Question: Hello, I was
reading them e'mails and noticed you really do reply back
to'em. I have been playing for 6 years (not that much) but
have improved a lot since I have a good ear for drum
beats. Would you have any tips on how to proper warm up before
practicing? Thanks for your time.
Answer: Hey man, what's
up. Thanks for writing and for the compliments. Well, when
I warm up I practice the rudiments around the drumset. For
example, I will do single strokes around the drumset. Also
I will vary the tempos. I do this not to just warm up but
also to make sure everything is set correctly. This is warm-up
time for me. Keep in touch and keep practicing! - Tony Royster
Jr.
